What is Educational Therapy?

To aid children with learning disabilities or need learning assistance, with the alphabet, literacy, letter sounds, writing and phonics. Mainly for children just before they go to mainstream primary school, therefore around the ages of 5 to 6. 

During this phrase, they would start learning how to string complicated sentence structure and learn the basic of using connector words and grammar to string a proper, verbal sentence for others to understand. 

What to expect?

During this session, the therapist would work with the children’s alphabets, letters, letter sound, writing, phonics, stringing of sentence and their understanding of their vocabulary. Usually for children 5-6 years old, before the enter into mainstream primary schools. 

Steps

  • While entertaining the child with games, or revisions of what they went through during their previous session. Therapist would talk to parents about feedback and improvements the child might have, between the last session to then.
  • Therapist would proceed to teach patients what they had planned or planned on focusing during their session.
  • There would be play time, for a 2nd round of feedback, the Therapist noticed with the child. 
  • Lastly, there would always be play time.
